Institute Community & Content Coordinator
Reports to Senior Digital Product Manager
The Institute Community and Content Coordinator serves as the community manager for the Word on Fire Institute, a dynamic online community focused on forming Catholic evangelists. The Institute Community and Content Coordinator serves as a liaison between Institute Fellows and Institute members, helping the Fellows to manage their communities by providing training and technical support and serving as a point of contact for all Institute members with questions about the communities. The Institute Community and Content Coordinator supports the Institute by managing its content through page building, formatting, scheduling, search engine optimization (SEO), and user experience (UX).

Responsibilities
Serve as a single contact person for all Emmaus group leaders and all Institute members with questions about Institute communities
Ensure that Academic and Pastoral Fellows are providing regular content packages to Emmaus group leaders
Provide technical support to Fellows, assisting them to set up groups, communities, webinars, and other online learning events
Edit and manage all course content and resources, ensuring the deliverables are posted and courses are published in accordance with release schedules
Coordinate the course and community launch schedules, working with Academic and Pastoral Fellows to track their engagement with communities; prepare reports for Institute executive leadership on community and fellow engagement
Manage the Institute communities’ membership rosters (both public and private communities)
Greet new Institute members and point them to all the resources the Institute has to offer, including the public and private (Emmaus) communities
Post all Institute content and videos to the communities
Ensure the Institute’s YouTube content is available through the Institute's landing page
Keep the Institute landing page up-to-date with fresh content
Collaborate with the marketing team to manage the family of WOFI sales pages, ensuring there is fresh content on a regular basis
Manage the SEO of all Institute resources, maximizing organic search discoverability
Research the User Experience (UX) of the Institute and provide recommendations to the design and engineering teams for improvement
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional proofreading skills
Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
Outgoing and willing to take charge and connect with Institute community members
Commitment to the mission of Word on Fire
Desired Qualifications
1-2 years of experience working in journalism, content marketing, online community management, or related fields
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress
Experience managing online communities
Familiarity with the work of Bishop Robert Barron and Word on Fire
