Job description
The Recruiting Coordinator (RC) will be part of Bloomin’ Brands’s RSC (Restaurant Support Center) Talent Management team. Specifically helping Talent Acquisition deliver an exceptional experience to both internal and external candidates as well as our internal customers. This role is also responsible for collaborating with numerous HR team members and departments on various projects, supporting the execution of operations, and assisting with recruiting efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide general admin support to the Recruiting Talent Manager & Recruiting department workflow.
Works closely with department managers to assist with recruiting needs and the coordinating interviewing (in-person & virtually)
Coordinate onboarding and orientations of new RSC employees
Complete Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation through E verify Submits, requests, and assists with new-hire background checks (Monitor, process, and adjudicate background checks)
Assist with recruitment strategies and support Recruiters, as needed.
Coordinate the distribution of materials, timelines, and effective execution of Recruiting processes.
Execute reporting formats, collect and interpret data, andtroubleshoot data/reports
- Track sign-on bonuses and send to Payroll for timely processing.
Manage payroll actions including hires, terminations, transfers,internal promotions,
- Follow& incorporate new hiring trends, technology, website hiring resources, and must show strong technical skills.
Incorporate recruiting techniques and best practices, ensuring these applicable policies are within federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Manage LinkedIn Company Brands and presence – design Career Page, ensure roles are properly posted, provide Sourcing support and insights to recruitment team and monitor job stats.- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS / KEY CAPABILITIES
- Minimum 1 year of current HR experience
Must be able to multi-task, able to prioritize in a very active and faced-paced environment.
Effective interpersonal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Must be knowledgeable of federal, state and local employment laws.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Advanced computer proficiency skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and HRIS systems (working knowledge of Paradox, UKG is a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizationskills
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to work a Hybrid schedule- working three days/week directly from the Restaurant Support Center, located in Tampa,
FL. Candidates should currently be local to Tampa, as no relocation assistance is available.
