The HR Coordinator is responsible for delivering efficient administrative support that facilitates the smooth running of the HR Department. The HR Coordinator must first and foremost be the guardian of administrative procedure, contributing ideas for continuous improvement. They are also expected to be involved in HR projects and initiatives together with supporting lower level ER cases. The overall objective is to continually raise the profile of HR positively within the Company.
A key part of the role is being able to handle a fast moving, constantly changing environment with a smile! This role is central to maintaining a cohesive and positive working environment within the HR team, so being hands on and ready to help with whatever comes up is essential.
Ensuring the system is always accurate and data is liveProcessing of Starters, leavers and changes on the HR software
Deal with all Store based HR software queries and work closely with our system provider
Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
Advertising vacancies, screening candidates and conducting the 1st stage interview for junior positions
Carry out new starter inductions/onboarding
Drafting of all HR letters within a timely manner
Conduct exit interviews to collate data
Ensuring all job roles are bench-marked and accurate data is maintained
Supporting the Head of People on key people projects e.g. Store induction manual. Head-office induction manual, development frameworks for retail, Defined company values etc
Responsible for maintaining any admin for company benefits
Supporting with launching new company benefits
Supporting the Head of People with the HR set up for new store locations e.g. system set up, country bench-marking, recruitment methods etc
Supporting with event planning, finding a venue and dealing with suppliers
Ad-hoc HR report and maintaining monthly KPI data
First line HR advice to Store Managers
Ensuring all HR related admin is being completed by the Store Managers and chase were necessary
Supporting the Head of People with annual salary reviews, issue letters to all employee and making system updates
Have a proven track record as a proactive and self-motivated HR person seeking to implement the skills you have gained throughout your career to date.Experience within an HR environment.
Experience within retail or hospitality
Understands the importance of urgency and can handle tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to deal effectively with change and ambiguity
Spanish and Italian speaking highly advantageous
