Job description
Reporting to the UAS Lead Business Partner in the HR Division, with a dotted reporting line to the Academic Secretary, the HR Co-ordinator will provide a full local HR service to the central Academic Division.
The role manages and leads on all day-to-day local HR functions including recruitment processes, HR issues and contractual matters. In addition to offering support and advice as appropriate, the role holder will monitor and review systems and procedures for ensuring best practice and compliance; support the development of local HR policies; making recommendations for improvements, implementing and monitoring changes.
The role holder will also provide a comprehensive HR support service to the UAS and NSI Team.
The role holder will be educated to HND/ HNC level, level 4/ 5 vocational qualification or an equivalent level of practical experience. They will also have experience working as an HR Administrator, Assistant or Co-ordinator within a generalist HR setting with experience of providing transactional support and also advice to line managers and employees on terms and conditions and HR policies and procedures.
