Do you want to be a key part of a newly formed HR management team that will set out to deliver leading HR services through true organisational partnering?
As one the HR Business Partners for our Professional Services functions, you will play a critical role in pro-actively supporting organisational leaders to navigate their people agendas at both the strategic and operational levels.
As part of the HR Partnership Services Management Team, you will also play a leading role in the design and provision of innovative, high quality HR services across the University, and will lead on the realisation and embedding of our new people strategy within your portfolio.

In return, we will offer a basic salary of up to circa £46,974 (August 2023) and a generous annual leave entitlement plus 4 days seasonal shutdown. Alongside this you can expect an excellent pension scheme (LGPS) and the flexibility and support to work in a hybrid model.

About the Role
We are at an exciting point in the evolution of both the University and the Human Resources and Organisational Development Department (HR&OD) as we take forward our new University Strategic Framework and align our new People, Culture and Community Strategy that will lead us up to 2030. HR & OD has a key role to pay in working alongside our most senior managers to support the realisation of our strategic aims via the provision of innovative, high quality, value-add HR services that directly support our organisational needs.
As a key part of a newly formed HR Partnership Services management team, this role will be pivotal in bringing the people strategy to life within our Professional Services functions, being visible within the portfolio and working closely with the leadership teams to support a wide range of people related activities including case management, organisational change, colleague engagement and experience, resourcing, talent management and succession planning. You will also be working collaboratively with Deputy Director of HR&OD and the extended HR team to support a variety University wide strategic projects and policy development.
This an excellent opportunity for a strong, pro-active, and forward-thinking HR practitioner to have an impact and make their mark on our organisation as a Business Partner, supporting a new phase of HR practice and service delivery for the University.
