BA Euroflyer is a newly formed subsidiary of British Airways operating the flying of all European routes from London Gatwick. The Role
In this role, the role holder will join a small to medium-sized office-based team and will work in partnership with the line area and the HR Manager and team to deliver a high performing organisation that can deliver the company’s People Plan and business plan. The jobholder will make a significant HR delivery contribution to the business that puts colleagues firmly on the agenda at the centre of our decision making.
Reporting to the HR Manager the role will drive results and impact the bottom-line through strategic partnering and hands-on delivery. You will be a self-starter, solutions focused, problem solver and results driven and ideally someone that has worked in a challenging, complex, high pressured and fast paced environment. The role will be a combination of strategic and executional / delivery focused.
- Experience of working on change programmes
- Experience of HR strategy, policies and practice (reward, performance management, development, ER, engagement, talent etc.)
- IR experience (union negotiation)
- TUPE experience
- Experience of advising and influencing middle and senior managers
- Experience of coaching managers
- Experience of reviewing and writing employment policies
- Knowledge of employment law (including that relating to IR arrangements)
- Knowledge of the airline industry
- Experience of operating as a HR business partner.
Qualifications
- Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above
- Sound A-Levels (or equivalent)
- University undergraduate degree or equivalent
- CIPD qualified to Level 5.
