Responsibilities
As a HR Business Partner, you'll be working within the Infrastructure team to to support the Infrastructure business stream through delivery of key People, Culture and Wellbeing projects. Taking personal accountability for leading HR projects and initiatives to deliver Performance Centred Leadership, meet HR plans and ensure that there is a strong culture of engagement.
The role will work closely with HR Business Partners, Assistant Business Partners, and the L&D team, in addition to a broad range of business stakeholders. It will involve national travel to Infrastructure projects/offices throughout the UK.
Your day to day as a HR Business Partner will include:
- Lead HR projects and initiatives within the business stream as required to ensure delivery of the HR plan. Project management will include developing project plans, toolkits, communication plans, training materials, reporting requirements, stakeholder briefings and reports.
- Responsible for project managing, driving, and executing regular/annual cycles of activity including
- Being pro-active in communicating key HR activities and processes to all mangers and staff, including running briefing sessions; upskilling Line Managers to ensure they understand process and can be more effective people managers; and working collaboratively to share best practice across the business
- Working closely with the HRBP (Learning and Development), to provide appropriate support to the early careers programmes through their lifecycle including apprentices, trainees, undergraduates, and graduates
- Drive Diversity & Inclusion through the business, working with HR Director and D&I Business Lead to implement the D&I Action Plan;
