In this role you will act as a trusted advisor and partner to the United Kingdom and functional HR Business Partners globally. Drive the people strategy, culture and engagement across the workforce in the United Kingdowm. Lead change initiatives and implement specific HR programs to achieve organization goals and objectives. Ensure HR programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitor effectiveness through the tracking of key measures. Balance corporate, function, geographic and business needs in deploying HR programs to the business unit. Collaborate with HR program/policy/process owners to deliver effective HR programs.
Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key decision- makers within the business, business unit, or function. Uses extensive business or function knowledge to drive the execution of a wide spectrum of HR programs.
- Partners with the local leadership teams in the United Kingdom to drive culture & engagement initiatives across the hybrid workforce
- Works to coach and develop managers across the United Kingdom
- Partners with global teams to identify, develop and deliver DIEB initiatives for the United Kingdom
- Identifies and delivers insights to functional HRBPs re: local engagement/attrition trends etc
- Works cross functionally to train and develop managers
- Acts as the lead United Kingdom employee relations ensuring resolution and effective management of local, non-egregious issues
- Drives best practice and consistent processes and standards
- Identifies the need for new or improved HR processes and drives the development and implementation of those processes.
- Collaborates with senior colleagues in the centers of expertise in order to apply sufficient HR resources to meet the business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years in a mid-level HRBP role. We need someone who thrives in a fast-growth, ever changing environment who can pivot and adjust as needed.
- Experience with HR practices and disciplines including performance management, talent strategies, employee relations, compensation and benefits
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships, establish trust and provide counsel in a thoughtful, sensitive and timely manner
- Ability to manage competing demands, prioritize work with a sense of urgency, meet deadlines, work independently, and deliver on commitments
- Results and action oriented
- Flexibility and the ability to adjust to a constantly changing work environment is a must
- Very strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Very strong project management and time management skills
