The opportunity
Project: The HRBP role encompasses operational and strategic working, partnering with a number of defined Business Units under the Consult Europe Hub, their senior team and employees, offering expert consultancy advice and providing respectful business challenge. HRBPs drive the development of people and resourcing plans in support of the Group and Consult business priorities. Role holders are expected to keep up to date with the latest thinking in both business and people practice and to make recommendations aimed at improving and developing the business, our people and the overall company performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Partner a number of defined client group/s and provide input on the HR implications of strategic and operational decisions and plans, ensuring the efficient delivery of People-related services within allocated business areas.
Working with Business Unit Directors and their leadership team to support change management, including OD, Risk Analysis, Implementation and Communication Plans.
Developing a performance culture through coaching, facilitating talent assessments and succession planning meetings.
Analysing people data to identify trends and issues which inform priorities and plans.
Supporting business area/s with workforce planning and strategic resource management.
Building the capability of the leadership teams to handle situations rather than manage issues for them.
Working closely with the Talent Acquisition function to facilitate resource requirements within your defined business area/s.
Ensuring the Business Unit Directors focus on performance management, engagement and retention activities.
Supporting the defined business area/s in applying and conforming to Mace policies.
Supporting the delivery of and contributing to the content of appropriate training and development programmes, working closely with colleagues in the Talent & Development team.
Working collaboratively with colleagues in the Human Resources communities of expertise to facilitate people requirements for your business areas.
Maintaining a working knowledge of employment legislation.
Developing and delivering resourcing, talent and succession plans.
Developing and delivering corporate change programmes.
Working on HR Projects in all business areas, as required and directed.
About you
You are CIPD qualified - member level membership and have demonstrable experience in a Business Partner role, partnering with Business Unit Director level senior stakeholders. You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
