About the role


You will support senior leaders in building the capability of the organisation to achieve and deliver short term business performance targets and the longer-term strategy. To create sustainable value through a people plan focussed on transformational and cultural change.


Additionally you will:


  • Own the day to day relationship with key business stakeholders as a trusted advisor
  • Develop and deliver elements of the People Plan aligned to business goals and key challenges and adapt for changing needs.
  • Facilitate talent conversations with stakeholders to support the performance improvement and development of capability of their teams
  • Support the people strand of change management projects liaising with the CoE, relevant stakeholders and engaging with trade unions.
  • Collaborate with HRS, CoE’s and other stakeholders in the deployment of cyclical people processes including compensation, performance management, engagement, talent and succession.
  • Provide support on IR issues to operational managers, supporting strategic involvement, IR issue resolution, IR project work and ensuring relationships with the Trades Unions are managed at the appropriate level.
  • Utilise relevant data driven metrics and insights to facilitate conversations with stakeholders to drive the focus and delivery of performance and future planning
  • Advocate and sponsor the use of the full suite of HR service offerings, acting as customer voice, role model and facilitator to ensure business adherence to, and delivery of the agreed service model

In this role you will be partnering senior teams across Parcelforce Operations as dynamic and agile HR business partner, taking direction from the Head of HR Parcelforce with a high degree of independence and autonomy to make a difference.


About you


You are able to quantifiably demonstrate the ability to build credible relationships with senior stakeholders to enable challenge and build consensus.

You can demonstrate an approach to work that is both energetic and enthusiastic, being adaptable and flexible; self-motivated and able to prioritise multiple demands.

You should also be able to demonstrate that you are resilient and independent minded to champion the organisation view with stakeholders


You will also have:


  • HR technical experience including current employment law
  • A track record of delivering
  • Experience working in a challenging IR climate
  • Change management experience such as supporting reorganizations, TUPE & MA&A
  • Quantifiable experience of influencing stakeholders

Qualifications



  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • CIPD qualified desirable
