HR Business Partner

As a HR Business Partner for our UK Aerospace Business. Support approximately 240 employees within a manufacturing plant, you will provide both operational and strategic HR support. You will translate the Aerospace business team strategies into an HR agenda and execution plan that will ensure delivery of our goals. As part of the site leadership team, you will provide a full comprehensive HR service to all positions based at the site to include: identifying talent, total rewards, capability building and cultural programmes, in partnership with the HR COE’s, that increase PPG performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate the functional and corporate strategies into the site HR agenda, enabled by data and analytics. Present a monthly leadership ‘people’ update with important statistics and any updates on ongoing processes/projects.
- Be a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the site leadership, using data to identify talent, total rewards, engagement, performance, culture and capability building to local site results.
- Support for local issue resolution (including employee relations, time and attendance, compensation) and policy adherence, using standard global, regional and local practices and guidelines.
- Deliver short- and long-term sustainable business/function performance through strategic capability building.
- Ensure Global execution of HR strategy/projects, challenging to balance local business and programme needs, while understanding and advocating a ONE PPG approach.
- Collaborate with local leaders to improve standard processes (e.g., talent, rewards, engagement, and succession and development).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related, with CIPD qualification.
- 3 or more years generalist Human Resources experience with experience working in a unionised manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of UK employment legislation
