Contract to start on 20-08-23 until 22-12-23 with a possible extension.
The post holder will have responsibility for delivering high level specialist Organisational Development advice, guidance and support and producing whole client policies/strategies which support the internal management of the client. Working with teams across the county and Senior Leaders to support continuous organisational performance improvement.
They will work with line managers on the design and delivery of appropriate Development Plans for their staff, to commission and evaluate agreed internally delivered interventions and ensure best use of the clients development apprenticeship levy. Furthermore, they will develop coaching, mentoring and other talent development schemes to support staff learning and development to enhance the clients performance.
They will design and deliver OD strategies, processes and interventions that support the clients ambition to be a high performing organisation, including initiatives which foster a high-performance culture, where valuing learning, continuous improvement and diversity are the norm. To achieve this, they will ensure sufficient resource is available to deliver the service priorities through effective workforce planning including recruitment and selection, retention, talent management and succession planning whilst effectively managing the OD service budget.
