Job description
HR Recruit is currently seeking an experienced HR professional for our client in the education sector based in Langley, Berkshire for a hybrid role. Joining an existing team, this is fantastic opportunity to make a real impact within the organisation. There are also excellent holidays for the role.
HR Business Partner Responsibilities
- Advise and assist managers with the whole range of HR and employment related queries
- To research and resolve employee queries in accordance with employment legislation
- Coordinate sickness absence processes, including meeting with managers and employees to discuss absences and plans for support and improvement
- To process payroll and any iTrent changes for starters, leavers and other people amendments.
- To support the implementation and development of HR systems, including data management, training of line managers and employees.
- To assist in 360 recruitment processes working closely with the recruitment team
- Write and review policies, procedures, How To guides for managers and staff, ensuring that information is relevant and kept up to date,
- Undertake projects as necessary
- To advise, lead and participate in employee relations matters including grievance and disciplinary processes.
- To conduct exit interviews with leavers and provide analysis of the results
- Support the work of the Employee Experience Team as necessary.
Person Specification
- Hands on and able to use own initiative
- Demonstrable experience of managing a varied caseload including absence management, disciplinary and grievance, performance management
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
- Experience of using an HR system
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements
- High level of attention to detail
- Holder current driving license
There will be travel to a local site approx. once a week so holding a current driving license is essential. The holidays for this role are 30 days, plus BH, plus Christmas closure. In return, you will receive a salary of between £42,000 - £44,119 (depending on experience).
