Our team coordinates and facilitates a variety of HR initiatives to support our associates so we can continue to build high quality products that contribute to the power of the Honda Brand!
- Lead daily management of team that provides HR Business Partner services.
- Lead and guide in the area of Labor Relations in order to maintain union free status. Train and mentor HR Partners as well as current and future HDMA leaders.
- Assist in the development of human resource policies.
- Research HR emerging issues and trends to inform strategic business decision and HR strategy as it relates to key areas of responsibility.
- Communicate and facilitate company level initiatives as appropriate such as Regional Compensation and Promotions, Performance Management, etc with Department Leads.
- Lead as a strategic business partner regarding HR business plan initiatives or themes.
- Manage key projects and support as assigned.
- Advise on and coordinate regarding Exempt and Non-Exempt associates’ adherence to company policies and procedures with exit interviews, leave of absence, etc.
- Manage and support with associate movement process and evaluating documentation to ensure aligning with company policies, budgets, etc.
- Support Legal team as needed.
Required Work Experience:
- 8 years of equivalent, related job experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related Business
- Working knowledge of Kronos, Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint, PeopleSoft.
- Good analytical and presentation skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Open-office environment
- Travel 2-5 days annually for training and/or special projects
- May require travel between plants/locations
- 5-8 hours of OT per week.
