- Work in partnership with the business to understand detailed HR requirements and people plans, constructively challenging where appropriate in order to provide a legally compliant and employee centric experience.
- Influence the business to create inclusive environments and practices where employees can be themselves and are valued for their differences and be supported to work at their best.
- Drive the HR agenda for your stakeholders which supports business growth, builds capabilities and drives engagement in partnership with our leaders.
- Advise and proactively manage employee relations issues (consultation, disciplinaries, investigations etc)
- Effectively deliver change management initiatives, organisation restructures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work with the wider HR team to ensure successful roll out of policies, procedures and initiatives.
- Develop a network, building credible relationships within your business units by collaborating and supporting with all parts of the employee lifecycle including employee relations issues, reward, talent and succession and organisation design.
- As a subject matter expert, support line managers to make informed decisions on various HR matters.
- Represent Exertis to drive a continuous improvement and best practice culture.
- Coach line managers to provide a positive employee experience and to utilise the appropriate business tools.
- Coordinate the use of data insights and MI to anticipate and plan for long term HR needs and trends in partnership with stakeholders.
- Own the process for ensuring company policies are administered fairly and consistently throughout your business areas.
- Provide advice about compliance and risk management issues.
- Represent the HR function positively and professionally, building its reputation as an integral and commercial business function that adds value across all business areas.
- Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to ethics and compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.
- You’ll enjoy building relationships as you’ll be working on a variety of assignments across the business and creating people plans for a wide range of business areas.
