Coretta is a fast-growing, national, not-for-profit organization that provides free legal services to individuals who are unable to pay our rising legal fees. We provide assistance in all aspects of the person’s case, including: defense, investigation, testimony, cross-examination, settlement negotiations, and finalization of judgment or divorce discharge.
Job Description
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented individual who has a passion for helping others. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the person’s employment and employment-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between the person and the employer. This includes but is not limited to: gathering information about the person’s employment status, unemployment verification and other relevant information; preparing employment-related documents; coordinating with the Employer on verification of employment; coordinating with other parties as needed; preparing employment-related documents; and assisting in preparation of documents for court proceedings.
- Assisting in preparation of documents for court proceedings. This includes but is not limited to: gathering information about the person’s employment status, unemployment verification and other relevant information; coordinating with other parties as needed; preparing court documents; and assisting in preparation of documents for court proceedings.
- Coordinating with other parties as needed. This includes but is not limited to: gathering information about the person’s employment status, unemployment verification and other relevant information; coordinating with other parties as needed; preparing court documents; and assisting in preparation of documents for court proceedings.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by management. This includes but is not limited to: performing administrative tasks such as answering phone calls or emails, scheduling appointments or appointments with attorneys or employers, preparing documents for submission to management or others, etc.
