Key responsibilities
As an experienced HR professional, you will work hand in hand with senior leaders to draw out innovations in work processes and organisational design with a view of improving the business’s overall efficiencies. You will own and lead on multiple HR change projects working with both the business and also the HR Centres of Excellence. You may also lead on the acquisition of new businesses into the platform.
You will need to maintain an in-depth knowledge of the legal requirements, internal and external, related to the day-to-day management of employees within the business, reducing legal risks, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, and most importantly enabling employee satisfaction and retention.
You will also be comfortable utilising MI to identify areas for continuous improvement, provide insightful analysis to enable effective people, cost and risk management and working in collaboration with our HR Centres of Excellence, ensure that any initiatives are successfully embedded into the business.
Key requirements for the HR Business Partner:
- Strong project manager – experience of managing multiple HR Change projects
- Experienced in organisational design – demonstrable experience of designing and leading transformational change
- Experience of business acquisition including leading the due diligence process and TUPE
- You will have commercial and financial awareness e.g. understanding of the external market, how the balance sheet works, company performance, market intelligence, business drivers, etc
- Relationship management skills are essential, including negotiation, contracting, consultancy, facilitation, influencing and presentation skills
- You’ll think and act strategically and have the ability to coach senior leaders to enhance culture as well as having the resilience to manage difficult discussions
