The Team

HR Employee Solutions is an HR Function responsible for supporting the HR Department in multiple processes. The function oversees:

    All System Implementation and Maintenance from a client point of view.

    All outsourced and offshored HR Processes across the globe.

    The re-engineering of existing processes in HR.

    Support Business Partners on their day to day delivery of services.

The Service Delivery & Implementation team is one of the sub-teams within the function and is responsible for implementing new applications in the HR space, maintaining and enhancing existing ones, provide micro scale solutions for existing processes and manage an array of tech related processes (e.g. entitlements, intranet support, system’s training, etc) supporting the department and MS employees on their day to day usage of HR services.


The function is the bridge between the department and HR technology as well as the IT teams of some of the HR vendors.


The role

The HRIS Business Systems Manager role is part of the Systems’ Support team and is responsible for:


    Responsible for providing support to HR system users by analysing, tracking, and resolving issues, escalating critical issues to management when appropriate. Serve as an escalation point from the HR Service Centre for system related issues that cannot be solved by the HRSC.

    Understanding client requirements, documenting detailed functional business requirements, and translating these to technology teams and vendors.

    Regularly research, analyse and recommend/implement solutions to HR processes and systems in order to improve efficiency and minimize risk.

    Support the full implementation life cycle for large and small projects as required, ranging from helping to define user requirements to creating test plans and scripts.

    Product owner of various HR systems, responsible for entitlements and ensuring regular governance processes are followed.

    Create system training materials and reference documents for end users and Level 1 support

    Participate in HR calls globally; align on relevant topics with team members.

    Partner with HRSC and HR Operational Services globally to support system releases and make recommendations on leveraging new system functionality.

    Design training for users.

    Constantly negotiate, agree and advise on items related to systems to the HR Technology team as well as internal stakeholders.


As an HR Solutions professional it is imperative that the following design principles be met when executing on the above:

    Partnering with legal and compliance in order to ensure regulatory compliance

    Working closely with HRIT to determine that correct solution is implemented, and proper governance process is followed

    Upholding the Firm’s audit standards

    Ensuring the proper data security for our Firms employee data


QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

    Educated to degree level
    5 years of proven track record of HR systems experience to a superuser level.
    Must have prior experience in supporting an HR function, with good knowledge of HR processes and practices
    Customer service focused with a sense of urgency
    Experience of performing system requirements definition, design, development, configuration, and testing support
    Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels within the organization with strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills
    Problem solver with a logical approach
    Attention to detail is critical
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required. Ability to quickly learn and embrace new toolsets
    The ability to balance multiple priorities under pressure
    Analytical and flexible
    Jira experience desirable
    Passion for innovation is a must.
