We’re looking for an Audit Expert to:
- have overall responsibility for the effective delivery and quality of risk assessment, audit and issue assurance work as Product Owner of the HR audit agile pod in the Group Operations and Technology Office, Group Human Resources & Group Corporate Services (GOTO, GHR & GCS) audit stream
- deeply understand Group HR frameworks, processes and controls across all HR functions such as performance & reward, attracting & hiring, talent & culture, advisory, operations, payroll and employee relations including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I)
- understand the strategy, context and risks of Group HR and prioritize the pod’s work accordingly to help achieve the audit stream’s objectives
- be overall responsible for delivering impactful risk focused insights to our stakeholders through the execution of reviews and audits of HR, including thematic and front-to-back, while ensuring all work meets coverage, quality and audit methodology requirements
- mitigate impediments to the team’s goals, align across pods and with crew leads and act as your pod’s ambassador towards our stakeholders
- motivate and energize pod members and contribute to their growth and well-being
- define the set of necessary competencies in the pod, in cooperation with the crew leads and chapter leads (where required) and provide regular feedback to ensure high performance
- act as an inspirational people and development manager for the HR audit pod, coach and support the growth and career progression of your chapter members, foster a culture of empowerment and collaboration and cultivate high standards in HR audit delivery in support of the Stream’s strategy and objectives

- delivery of complex risk and control assessment, ideally within the financial industry, consulting firm or internal audit function.
- knowledge of HR processes and related regulatory requirements; experience in HR function or HR audit would be beneficial
- setting outcome-focused goals, such as using OKRs (Objectives and Key results)
- working in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product ownership (such as performing product owner role in a scrum team)
- team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues
- strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
- commitment to keeping up with industry, regulatory developments and learn new concepts and methods
