Job description
Our client, a national charity is seeking an experienced HR candidate to join a small, friendly team within their Flitwick office. Candidates seeking both temporary and permanent contracts a welcome to apply.
The role offers a temp rate of £12.30 per hour plus holiday pay.
Candidates with experience in the charity sector would be desirable but not essential.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- HR administration in line with the business HR policies, procedures and guidance
- Carry out HR duties in line with the business policies, procedures and guidance and be the first point of contact for staff regarding HR queries
- Assist in the collation of monthly payroll information for payroll administration, ensuring that monthly payroll changes are prepared and issued to the external payroll bureau
- Overseeing the organisation’s workforce onboarding and leaver administration processes
- Recruitment; contractual paperwork, DBS checks, references, new starter inductions, probation processes and exit interviews
Required Skills and Experience:
- Working with and supporting the work of senior management, managers and colleagues
- Using HR databases and systems for data collection, inputting, maintenance, manipulation, interpretation and reporting
- Voluntary sector experience desirable
- Coordinating a small team of administrators and volunteers
