We are Dove House Hospice, a local hospice that has been providing end-of-life care for people in Hull and East Yorkshire for over 40 years.

We are currently seeking a HR Assistant to join us on a permanent, part-time basis working 22.5 hours per week, with flexible working considered.

The Role
As a HR Assistant, you will provide effective and efficient HR administrative support to our People and Development Officer and our reception services.
Specifically, you will co-ordinate People and Development paperwork such as onboarding, ensure our centralised record system remains up-to-date and produce monthly reports.
Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, you will manage and escalate issues as appropriate, handle incoming and outgoing mail and supervise our hospice volunteers.
Additionally, you will:
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of our office and reception area
- Manage purchase orders
- Process stationery and office supply requests
To be considered as a HR Assistant, you will need:
- Experience of working in an administrative role
- The ability to complete projects to a high standard
- Close attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good numeracy skills
