THE POST - HR Assistant
Due to internal progression within the team, we are looking for a permanent HR Assistant to join our amazing team who are committed to the UWS strategy of valuing our people and ensuring UWS is a great place to work!
The position provides first line support, guidance on general employment matters and administrative support throughout the employment lifecycle. Reporting to the Recruitment & HR Administration Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the provision of a proactive and effective HR service.
You should have proven administrative experience, preferably in an HR setting, to include:
- Producing employee related paperwork, including contracts of employment and induction packs.
- Using systems and providing data effectively.
- End to end recruitment administration.
- Communicating with managers/employees and external contacts in relation to HR policies and procedures.
- Note taking.
- Managing shared inboxes.
You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and have the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines. With drive, enthusiasm, and tenacity, you will be accustomed to operating within a busy environment.
