Job description
People Experience Assistant – Cardiff (Hybrid) – Up to £24,000 with Bonus and excellent benefits
Joining Ogi is a unique opportunity to work within an innovative Welsh business and one of the fastest-growing companies in Wales.
You may have known us previously as Spectrum Internet and NSUK, but we've rebranded to Ogi - a new name that reflects our commitment to serving Welsh communities. We’ve received a multi-million-pound investment and are currently in the thick of our large-scale full-fibre internet deployment across South Wales!
This is a great opportunity to join a talented people experience team that supports the larger people strategy to achieve our goal of becoming one of Wales best companies to work for.
About you…
We have a team of 6 at the moment who work across L&D, Culture and People Experience. This is a great opportunity to work with a team who are an integral part of the wider business at Ogi and a key role that will ensure we provide customer-focused service to the wider team.
Ideally, you’ll have a HR generalist background with an interest and experience in payroll, pension, and benefits management. You should be collaborative, empathetic, process orientated and have strong attention to detail, along with a positive, customer service style approach to maintain and improve our overall employee experience.
We’re keen to speak to someone who is keen to learn and progress in their career. We’re looking for super-organised and personable people. Sector experience isn’t as important to us (though great if you’ve worked in ISP/Telco/Start-up/IT/software) - the real key is someone who can multi-task, learn quickly and aren’t afraid to have a voice in a company that is growing quickly.
You should be able to prioritise work as well as respect confidentiality and handle sensitive information. In terms of background/candidate attributes, we’re also looking for -
* Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
* Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills; written and verbal.
* Understanding of GDPR legislation.
* Experience in coordinating monthly payroll, pension and benefits processes
Overall you should be passionate about getting the job done to high standards in a very varied role!
