We are looking to appoint to 2 full-time, permanent positions
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened in our HR Department for two experienced HR Assistants to join our team supporting colleagues in our Academic Schools.
The role is varied and interesting, and will involve you advising our managers and employees on a variety of HR matters, including:
- Maternity and paternity provisions
- Flexible working
- Contract management
- Probationary periods
- Employee relations
- Project work
- Fixed-term contracts and redundancies
- Data compliance
- Immigration & visa sponsorship
You will also be responsible for the administration of the above, will support casework as a note-taker, and will have the opportunity to support the HR team in a wider range of generalist activities and projects.
We are based in Nottingham City Centre, but a blend of on-campus and remote working will be possible, and you will also work from both our Clifton campus and Brackenhurst campus in Southwell.
About You
You'll bring with you a proven track record of working within a fast-paced and busy HR department and you'll provide a proactive, customer focused, effective and value-added HR support service. Experience of iTrent HR system would be advantageous, although training will be provided.
You will be able to work logically and proactively, will have a commitment to providing excellent customer service, and will be capable of managing a high volume of varied activities. You will be a confident communicator and will enjoy developing professional, effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
