We are looking for a talented communication and engagement specialist to lead the team who inform, inspire and educate our team members in our retail stores, our retail corporate team and retail customer care centres. This is a unique opportunity for someone to lead and manage our internal communications and learning and development teams. From daily content to dynamic events, this group helps equip our Retail teams not just with the information to do their job, but the inspiration to deliver extraordinary service and experiences for our customers.
Key Qualifications
- Deep expertise developing and managing custom engagement and communications strategies from insight and strategy, to planning and execution, as well as thought-leadership on the models, infrastructure and management systems required for a modern communications operation.
- Proven leader and manager, able to attract, manage and develop a multi-disciplinary team of top performers. Seen and valued as a leader by your peers as able to drive the big picture and overarching mission, yet quickly move to tactical detailed execution seamlessly.
- Great at partnering and influencing the most senior of leaders on matters of critical significance on building out local vision, strategic focus and plans for 1-3 years, adapting to headwinds and changes in WW strategy, as well as flexing to play a leadership role in crisis communications creation and deployment.
Description
- Develop strategy, messaging, programming and execution to deliver integrated communication plans and engagement programmes to enhance team member’s experience, and enable them to deliver great customer experiences. - Manage scheduling and deployment of engagement plans across a range of daily communication platforms on topics including new store openings, new product introductions, marketing campaigns, people and benefits as well as support for WW and local Retail events and crisis communications. - Manage planning and deployment of learning and development initiatives and training for new store openings, and all on-going training for retail teams. - Build and maintain strong partnerships across key business partners, including People, Legal, PR, Field Leadership and Operations, to articulate Apple and Retail’s vision, as well as providing information and resources to enable teams daily work. Partners with WW, APAC and AMR in evolving global planning strategy for engagement and learning areas. - Upgrade our communications playbook so we have the right programs, tactics and infrastructure to meet the wide-range of communication needs for our teams; from career development, to benefits to the best ways to help our customers. - Play a key role in the Retail Engagement and Marketing Leadership team to develop and implement long-term vision, planning and strategic focus; as well as drive an understanding of what a retail career at Apple offers to our team members and the outside world. - Effectively lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of communications and learning and development professionals based in multiple locations.
