Job overview:

Listers Central Ltd. is one of the fastest growing UPVC and Aluminium Windows manufacturers on the UK market and has been making windows in Fenton for over 30 years.

We are now looking for an HR Assistant to join our busy team. You will be providing a comprehensive administrative support to the Head of HR. You will also have opportunities to get involved in various HR projects, lead disciplinary procedures and gain further experience in other areas of HR. In the role, you will work closely with other departmental managers, supervisors and the finance team. It is a great role for an individual with some HR experience who wants to develop their skills and experience further. Due to the size of the department, you must be comfortable in managing your own workload, be very good at prioritising various requests and take ownership over your work.

Main Responsibilities:

- Producing documentation for starters and leavers

- Processing holiday requests

- Producing contractual change letters & new contracts

- Supporting with Disciplinary Procedures

- Processing Return to Work documents

- Assistance with the management of HRIS/T&A system

- Scanning/filing of various HR documents

- Tracking employee absence levels and escalating to the Manager when threshold has been met

- Assistance with issuing of various information to relevant managers and with implementation of new policies and procedures.

- Assistance with organizing various events and draws.

- Other ad-hoc administrative duties.

Requirements:

· Confidentiality and discretion are a must.

· Must have a great attention to detail.

· Previous experience in HR required.

· Knowledge of GDPR/Data Protection would be advantageous.

· Positive attitude and approachable personality.

· Great communication skills (verbal and written).

· Very organised and able to juggle multiple tasks.

· Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and able to pick up new software easily.

· A-Levels (or equivalent).

Hours of work will be 8:30am - 4:30pm
