HR Assistant

What you will be doing:
You will be the first point of HR contact for our smart, ambitious staff, supporting all aspects of HR and recruitment delivery. You will act as the team's data and process expert, identifying trends and areas that the team needs to focus on in order to help drive our continued growth and recommending ways to make our work more scalable. You will provide generalist HR support and lead on key projects such as the development of new benefits processes. Among your responsibilities, you will manage:
Generalist HR

First point of contact for all general HR queries from junior to manager level, dealing with queries or passing them on as appropriate

Manage the employee exit process, including conducting exit interviews and the analysis of exit interview trends

Support on employee relation and performance coaching issues as required

Support the HR manager in new projects, involving onboarding and L&D and Data & process
Own the production of all HR data and proactively identify trends and recommendations for improvement. This includes: Exit interview feedback, Happiness Index, Employee turnover and HR Scorecard
Review HR administration processes and recommend how we can scale them as the business grows
Deliver HR administration seamlessly including: Offer process, Starters and leavers process, Probation process, Staff changes and promotions, IRIS administration, Payroll process, Employee benefits process, Induction process, Superstars and Recognition awards process, Performance appraisal process, Training and development organization and attendance, Salary review and appraisals.
Recruitment administration:
- Supporting the recruitment team the end-to-end recruitment process including advertising roles, sourcing, screening and shortlisting candidates and supporting the hiring managers in the decision-making process
- Manage the advertising of roles on the Artefacts websites, ensuring all non-confidential roles are advertised and closed positions are taken off
- Manage the Jobs Inbox to ensure the best talent is being put forward for the appropriate roles
- Maintain Applicant Tracking System to ensure timely and accurate data, workflow status
- Proactively build industry knowledge in order to best understand candidate's experience and relevance for Artefact.
- Source events and meetups to find new talent and assist in the coordination of recruiting activities / events
