6 Month Fixed-term contract
About the role
An exciting 6 month opportunity has arisen within the Group People Shared Services team. This role will be providing generalist HR, Recruitment and Learning & Development services to both JRF and JRHT across the full employee lifecycle.
A key part of this role is to ensure compliance for all pre-employment checks, DBS rechecks for existing staff, and ensuring all staff files are fully maintained and compliant. You will be the first point of contact for general HR queries and will provide advice and guidance to managers, referring more complex queries as appropriate. You will provide administrative support for recruitment, new starter inductions, learning & development and staff benefit processes.
No two days are the same and you will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders on a day-to-day basis, and will work closely with the Payroll team to set deadlines each month.
About you
You will have experience of working in a busy HR administrative environment, and knowledge and understanding of employment legislation is important for this role. You will be competent in the use of Microsoft applications and have knowledge and use of HR software/systems. You will have excellent organisation skills and be able to build good relationships with all stakeholders. Having attention to detail and literacy & numeracy skills are essential. You must have a flexible approach to you work, be able to work as a team player and also work on your own initiative at times. It would be advantageous to hold a Level 3 qualification in HR or have learning & development experience, but not essential.
