The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a HR Assistant to support Javelin’s HR VP, as well as relevant internal client groups. You will gain exposure to a wide range of HR tasks that touch on the full employee life cycle with global payroll and benefits being an important aspect of the role.
We’re looking for a self-motivated, positive and professional individual who understands the sensitive and confidential nature of the role.
Key responsibilities include:
· Supporting employees and managers with first line queries relating to payroll, benefits, absence etc
· Ownership of all Onboarding and Offboarding administrative tasks
· Producing all HR documentation, including contracts of employment, leaver letters, references etc.
· Maintenance of Javelin’s HR system and running reports when required
· Facilitating monthly payroll process, liaising with the Finance team
· Working with benefits providers to answer employee queries, adding new employees and managing the portals
· Supporting the HR VP and the business with recruitment activity including complex (due to different time zones) interview booking co-ordination
· Co-ordination of background checks and screenings for prospective employees and Visa/Immigration administrative processes
· Producing HR Metrics when required
· Updating and improving HR documentation, processes and procedures
· Involvement in the co-ordination of the annual 360 performance review process
· General ad hoc administrative tasks for HR VP and Chief of Staff
Skills and Experience Required:
· Graduate level candidate who has some experience in a similar role
· Experience of Payroll and Benefits is advantageous
· Excellent MS Office Skills including Excel is essential
· A Flexible, discrete, and diplomatic approach is essential
· Positive team player who can work effectively independently but also aware of when to request guidance from the HR VP and the Chief of Staff
· Ability to manage and prioritise workload and judge priority and urgency of requests and issues
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
