We are delighted to be seeking an HR Assistant for our client based on the outskirts of Chippenham.
- The role is to provide and deliver a comprehensive and effective recruitment solution for the business.
- The role will be responsible for sourcing appropriate candidates and coordinating the recruitment & selection processes including effective onboarding.
- As a member of a supportive HR team, you will need to be a strong team player and willing to support all HR activity.
As a Recruitment Assistant, we are seeking someone who is highly organised and able to prioritise your workload, and prepare and post job ads online (company website, job boards, and internally). You will develop great relationships with candidates and service users via excellent customer service skills. Must have ability to be proactive and supportive is essential, as is the understanding and application of treating candidates, staff, and managers with respect whilst maintaining confidentiality.
You will be working with Department and Hiring Managers to identify recruitment gaps and provide an effective strategy and support to solve these. You will complete the candidate screening process from start to finish and prepare to offer letters and coordinate Orientation/Training agendas as well as schedule interviews and keep calendars for all of the hiring teams.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience as Recruitment Consultant/Assistant or other recruitment-related roles
- Proven Recruitment experience in High Volume Manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
- Previous experience providing Induction or Training to new employees
- Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Confident & Outgoing
Our client is flexible so can offer full-time or part-time hours either 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday or 09:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday.
Must have access to transport due to client location
