Position: HR Assistant (Apprenticeship)
Location: Heathrow, Hounslow
Salary: Up to £22,500
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday. Day-time hours
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

This HR Assistant role will provide support on a number of HR processes across the site, with one of the main areas of focus being driving down long-term sickness. This workstream will form a large part of the role, however there will also be opportunity to expand skillset by working on different projects and alongside the site's HR Business Partners. The balance of this role will produce a well-rounded HR generalist with a focus on key areas for the Heathrow site.

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Support and Drive with employee satisfaction, performance, retention, and effective communication at sites.
- Drive certified agenda with site teams to meet target completion %
- Ensure employee performance management (sickness, discipline, grievance) through data analysis.
- Support HRBP and managers to develop and deliver solutions for workforce planning and management including organization design, forecasting resourcing needs, agency and identifying future talent requirements.
- Business area support for HRBP on HR needs / issues and interventions
- Support HRBP with the management of stakeholder and customer relationships during change projects
- Support leaders and managers to develop people management capabilities
- Support the HRBP to coordinate with the Centres of Excellence
- Work with workforce data and apply analytical skills to formulate people insights and recommendations
- Provide accurate and timely information and data to managers and employees on individual contracts, HR policies, processes, procedures etc.

- Have independence and the confidence to challenge positively
- The ability to build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships
- Proficient Business software skills (MS Word, MS Excel etc) & use of Office equipment.
- An understanding of the Supply Chain business and knowledge of operations (desirable)
- Great organisation skills.
- Able to adhere to deadlines.
