Job title: HR Assistant
Location: Samlesbury
Salary: £33,314+
What you’ll be doing:
- Working in a busy Manufacturing delivery area, engaging with employees, team leaders, trade union representatives and managers on HR policies & processes
- Monitoring & reporting on people data and insights
- Assuring HR documentation is completed, executed, and stored in line with policy requirements
This is primarily an onsite based role and may require occasional attendance on night & weekend shifts, as locally agreed with the HR Manager and local leadership team
Your skills and experiences:
Essentials
- Strong working knowledge & experience of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel including functions such as Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP
- Have a good understanding of managing confidential/sensitive information and data, in line with company policies and procedures
Desirables
- Knowledge of HR administration processes would be desirable
Experience of working in Manufacturing Environment
Experience of working in a unionised environment
Experience of using SuccessFactors

The US Programmes Manufacturing HR team:
The US Programmes HR team is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our diverse team supporting Manufacturing Operations at our Samlesbury site. The HR team works collaboratively, and values open communication, enabling the successful candidate to learn and develop from experienced team members.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing generalist HR assistance to employees, team leaders and line managers whilst interfacing with other parts of the HR function and operating model to deliver business people requirements.
