Job description

AES Sustainability Consultants Ltd works with some of the top ten UK housebuilders and developers to deliver high quality sustainability advice and assessments to the construction and property industry. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced HR Assistant to provide support to the HR Manager. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organisational skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the HR Manager with recruitment, HR management and record keeping.
  • To support the recruitment and selection process through publishing and advertising jobs in addition to inputting into shortlisting processes. You will be required to respond to all candidates or agencies, schedule interviews and ensure that pre-employment checks are completed.
  • Updating and maintaining our central HR system (BrightHR), you will carry out regular staff information audits and liaise with payroll on any pay discrepancies whilst also responding to any system queries from staff/management.
  • Diary and calendar management as well as assisting the HR Manager with general, day to day HR administrative duties.
  • To attend training as required to support professional and personal development.
  • Marketing support and company events planning

Skills and Experience

  • Previous HR experience in a similar role
  • Effective ICT skills with intermediate to expert level competence with MS Office
  • Solid working knowledge of HR and office processes
  • Evidence of working towards or having achieved CIPD qualification

What We Offer:

  • Salary £27,000 depending on experience

Hours: Full time – 36.25 hours per week
Contract: Permanent position - a three-month probation period applies
