Job description
This role is based within our Office at the University’s beautiful Whiteknights Campus. The successful candidate will be supporting People Development, add value to the overall level of service provided by the team, support with a wide range of activities and be the first point of contact for our internal and external customers.
You will support the maintenance of our eLearning system, produce reports and support the booking and running of internal training courses. You will also have the opportunity to shadow and gain an understanding of other teams across Human Resources.
As HR Assistant, as well as meeting the eligibility criteria for the apprenticeship; you will need to be a great communicator, have a desire to provide exceptional customer service, and have excellent administrative & computer skills.
The Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship will be run over a period of 18 months and be delivered by Farnborough College of Technology where you will attend face to face lessons one day every two weeks.
You will be supported internally throughout your apprenticeship by the People Development team to ensure that you are able to apply your learning into real work situations, are gaining the experience needed for your apprenticeship portfolio, and have as much knowledge and tools needed to move on to your desired next steps after completion.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship, you must:
- be 16 or over
- not already be in full-time education
- live in England
