HR Apprenticeship
Build a career in HR management with a world-leading bank
Salary - £23,000
You have extraordinary potential. Whatever your background or qualifications, an apprenticeship is only the beginning. Through comprehensive training and on-the-job learning, you’ll develop the confidence, skills, and experience to launch a career with a world-leading bank – and find out who you are and what you want along the way.
Let’s see how far you can go.
What’s it all about
Are you a natural people-person? Our page-tuning HR Apprenticeship programme will give you the skills and experience you need to fulfil your potential – and become a trusted, talented and valued HR professional in the finance industry.
You’ll be working on live projects from day one, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to share big ideas on how we can improve the way we work for our customers and colleagues. Throughout your apprenticeship you’ll rotate every six months, working within specialist teams in the HR function and building key relationships that impact the rest of your career. By the end of your apprenticeship, we’ll look to you as a key influencer, sharing and negotiating HR practices with our people across the business. And in return, we’ll support you in earning the CIPD Intermediate Diploma in HR Management, which will put you in a great position to grow as an HR leader in the future.
The apprenticeship offers a permanent role with Santander and following completion you will have opportunities to further develop your career within HR across the business.
Where you’ll work
As an HR apprentice, you’ll be based in our new state-of-the-art head office in Milton Keynes, Unity Place. You’ll have flexibility to work out of the office and at home, spending 40% of your time in the office working with colleagues as a minimum.
