We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to pursue an HR career starting in data analysis within an HR framework.

In addition to learning about the importance of data analysis to support important decision making, the role will provide a good all-round introduction to HR and involve a variety of duties and responsibilities, and every day will be different. You will:
- Support the team to deliver efficient and professional HR advice and guidance to managers and staff, including schools, in accordance with council policies and best practice standards.
- Provide administrative support to the wider HR teams as required.
- Ensure that all relevant County policies and procedures are adhered to and concerns are raised in accordance with these policies
Other great benefits include:
- Competitive rate of pay from £20,441
- Valuable on-the-job experience working alongside highly skilled individuals and professionals.
- 25 days' annual leave each year (plus bank holidays)
- Flexible working arrangements
- Tailored induction both at work and with the selected training provider
- Staff discount scheme for a range of retailers, holidays, insurance, eating out, health and leisure activities, discounted gym membership, and rail travel
- A range of activities to support health and wellbeing including an Employee Assistance Programme
Sounds good?
What we need from you in return - you will need:
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English or evidence of competence in producing written and numerical work;
- Experience of using the Microsoft Office suite of tools, including outlook, word and excel.
- Excellent keyboard skills enabling the production of accurate, well presented documentation;

- To be familiar with working in a busy environment, dealing with competing tasks and priorities to meet deadlines;

As a responsible corporate parent the council realises the range of challenges that growing up in care can involve and will offer a guaranteed interview to any applicant for an apprenticeship with the council who is currently in care or leaving care.
Adjustments to the minimum English and/or maths requirements will be considered by the provider where an apprentice has either an existing or previously issued Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan, a Statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a Learning Difficulty Assessment (LDA).
By applying for this Apprenticeship and the associated training you will be agreeing that your personal information you provide to the Council may be passed to the nominated training provider, ESFA, and the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. Where necessary it is also shared with the Department for Education, including the Education Funding Agency and any other relevant regulator relating to the Apprenticeship.
If that sounds good, our L3 Apprenticeship could be for you! Please get in touch as soon as possible with any questions or apply straight away.
