We are seeking a motivated HR Apprentice to join our Professional Services HR team, providing a comprehensive HR service to five departments (collectively known as the Cluster).
The role is office based in the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Addenbrooke's site and you will, during your 2 year apprenticeship, cover all aspects of the HR administration and HR activities within the clustered departments, you will work towards the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be a competent HR professional.
As you progress through your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to be involved in supporting the line managers and employees with tasks such as recruitment, on boarding and generalist HR administration. Your will be included in day-to-day tasks such as keeping track of recruitment, appraisal and probation progress.
You will report to the Senior HR Coordinator and working closely with the professional services teams and wider University.
Ideally you will be computer literate and have good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with staff at all levels. You will be willing to learn and to take responsibility for your own development. Skills required include having good organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to learn quickly. Applicants should have a minimum of 4 GCSEs or the equivalent at Grade C/4 or above, including Maths, Science and English. AS Level or A Levels are of benefit.
