Job Description – HR and Office Manager
ORSA is an independent compliance consultancy specialising in all matters health, safety, fire and environment.
The Role:
An exciting position has become available for an HR and Office Manager based in London W1. This role is permanent and part time, 32 hours a week with a minimum of 3 days in our office in central London. The salary is £32,000 to £38,000 p.a. depending on experience.
The primary objective of the role is to support the day-to-day HR operations of the business.
Your line manager will be the People and Culture Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
· Management of recruitment and new starter process.
· Overseeing employee contracts and offer letters.
· Maintain company handbook and policies.
· Management of performance review process and support training and development plans for broader team.
· Raising HR concerns with the People and Culture Manager.
· Maintaining employee records (promotions, leave etc).
· Providing Line managers with HR support as required.
· Responsible for communicating HR related updates to the broader ORSA team.
· Responsible for the monitoring and managing HR inboxes and folders.
· Provide Line management to the office administrator.
· Co-ordinating the renewal of all insurance and other related policies across the business.
· General administration.
Person Specification:
We are seeking a highly motivated, well organised and adaptable person who shares our values and commitment to quality. You understand the sensitive nature of the role and the need for confidentiality when dealing with HR matters. The ideal person will have previous experience of HR and Office Management within a SME and be willing to “muck in”.
Role Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role at a similar level.
· High level of confidentiality.
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent written English skills.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Professional manner.

· Positive and flexible attitude.
· CIPD qualified.
