What you’ll be doing
To ensure sustainable growth and profitability in digital and green through the Social Innovation Business, Hitachi is undergoing a major transformation to establish a customer centric business model (incl. alignment of global processes and common digital tools).
The overall ambition of the newly created global “talent management” department is to “attract and retain the best M&S talent working cross-boarders and cultures across the global M&S organization”
Concretely, the HR and Administration Advisor will oversee all general processes around the team, such as procurement, finance and HR. After some time the role will naturally develop into a role with a higher HR focus and be responsible to ensure the newly established policies are refined. He/She/They will closely collaborate with (HR) colleagues around the globe and ensure the practices are aligned with the company standards.
Some of the responsibilities of this role include:
Governance of existing Job descriptions to keep them up-to-date
Benchmark salaries as per company policy
Close collaboration with the team in Japan on Intercompany Agreement processes
Support definition of all newly established processes to set up a standardization, considering changing business needs and in line with evolving HR best practices
Governance of HR files with HiNext/Workday
Support with end-to-end recruiting activities ensuring a positive talent and onboarding experience
Work closely together with the Head of Performance Management for monthly budget reporting
Assist the team in Purchase to Pay processes

More than 5 years of successful HR, Finance, or Procurement admin working experiences, with the interest to grow into an HR role in the future
Can-do-attitude to show a hands-on approach on arising challenges with a high result-orientation
Digital tools (especially Workday and SAP) proficiency
self-motivated and driven
Cultural sensitivity and openness to work in an international business environment across all timezones
Excellent English level. Japanese proficiency a great plus
