Castlebar is an Outstanding Special School for primary aged pupils, working with children who have a range of learning difficulties including complex needs, Autism and Global Delay. We have an exciting vacancy for a suitably experienced HR Assistant to join our Team to support the delivery of excellent HR services within the School. You will need to have a flexible approach and the ability to multitask and prioritise your workload to provide an efficient and effective operation of this service, undertaking a wide range of administrative tasks,
The role will include supporting in all areas of the employee life cycle, providing a timely recruitment service, maintaining HR Records, administering the DBS process for employees, payroll administration, maintaining general HR systems and processes.
Accuracy, attention to detail and a high degree of integrity and confidentiality are essential, as is a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude so that you can provide a good service to our staff and other stakeholders.
You will be highly organised with the ability to work as part of a team and to develop positive working relationships with individuals at all levels communicating effectively.
You will also be competent in the use of computerised information systems including Microsoft Office and Google Suite, a knowledge of SIMs would be an advantage.
Previous experience in a similar role in a school or the public sector would be advantageous.
