About the Role
Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Aberdeen or Inverness
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 (depending on skills and experience) + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 12 month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time or Part Time | Flexible First options available
In this role you will lead on all planning, reporting & analysis of people data within the Transmission HR team. supporting with the implementation and the day to day management of the data for all strategic work force plans.
Key responsibilities will include:
- The development and ongoing analysis of HR monthly packs for each business area within Transmission
- Lead the ongoing delivery & optimisation of regular business reports & KPIs
- Reporting and management of the headcount data working with colleagues in Finance to keep our strategic workforce plan up to date at all times
- Engaging with business & HR managers to ensure that recruitment plans are being followed in a timely manner in line with the output from the workforce plans
- Contributing in building and maintaining the HR team budget. Creating this with robust justification for yearly budget period and monitoring throughout the year, liaising with Finance on any reforecasting.
- Lead on reporting processes including the monthly People Dashboard, turnover and transfer trend analysis and regular reports on training spend and other key people data points ensuring its always relevant and fit for business needs
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Strong analytical skills and budget management capability with the ability to challenge and interpret data and propose actions off the back of it.
- Pragmatic and systematic with ability to think clearly under pressure, quickly analysing and assimilating information to identify key issues and make evidence-based decisions.
- An understanding of resource management, with ability to advise on the development and application of effective workforce strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills delivered through a variety of channels including the use of PowerPoint, excel and PowerBI would be advantageous.
- Tenacity and commitment to deliver outcomes to challenging timescales in a regulated environment, effectively balancing immediate and longer-term priorities
