As HR Analyst you will have ownership of all HR reporting and analysis, which actively supports our business and HR priorities. Operating as a subject matter expert, this role will work with HR and Operational stakeholders to help them identify and manage their reporting requirements to enable them to achieve their desired outcomes and benefits.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will be accountable for:

  • Producing and presenting data to inform the business of key HR trends, extracting people data from the various HR systems to provide meaningful and usable reports that are presented in a user friendly manner
  • Use of analytics tools to create succinct HR dashboards to enable self-service, enabling data driven decision making
  • Work with other analytics teams to improve ways of working across the business
  • Provide insight, expertise and build stories with objective data at the heart
  • Work with the HR team to develop relevant reporting and KPIs
  • Developing and producing a suite of regular reports
  • Provide MI support on key projects e.g. D&I scorecards, Gender Pay Gap, promotion statistics, talent management
  • In your analysis of the data, you will spot trends and identify opportunities to support the HR and wider business goals
  • Working with the People Services Team to ensure data held in the system is useful and accurate, making recommendations for change
  • Support data integrity using regular data auditing processes
  • As the subject matter expert, coach the wider HR team in best-utilising dashboards and reporting, proactively receiving feedback on how HR MI can be continually developed to provide the most value
  • Act as the company expert in developing and maintaining MI from the HR system
  • Support in the evolution of the HR system, deploying automation where possible to improve overall efficiency

To be successful in this role you will require the following…

  • Be obsessed about data and data accuracy
  • Have prior experience working within a HR function, specifically in HR MI
  • Extensive experience of HR reporting and analytical tools
  • Ability to work with challenging, disparate and complex data sources
  • Demonstrable experience working with multiple data sources and an understanding of data modelling methodologies
  • Experience of data auditing and integrity best practice
  • Experience working with a dashboarding tool
  • Proficient in SQL for extracting data from databases
