We'd like you to join us as a HR Analyst in our finance team in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The Finance team provides a shared finance service centre to support the national operations of the businesses which operate in various aspects of the specialist care sector. Whilst sitting in Finance, this role with focus on supporting the HR function in understanding, collating and analysing People Data, to give the whole business a better understanding of metrics around our employee’s lifecycle.
What you'll be doing:
The HR Analyst is mid-level role within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, working in a high performing environment. The FP&A team’s purpose is to provide accurate, timely and insightful analysis to operational managers and external stakeholders. As part of its wider remit to analyse and understand the business, the scope of this role includes:
Producing and distributing daily, weekly and monthly Key performance indicators (KPIs) for the group, related to our people data, which includes the human resource information system (HRIS), payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, employment records, and exit interviews.- Whilst not responsible for ensuring data is entered into systems, the role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency and completeness of the reports created.
- Analysing data and statistics for trends with regard to recruitment practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws. This includes the generation of “story-telling” narrative which turns data into real and actionable insight.
- Provide support to Senior HR managers, analysing the employee lifecycle, compared to budget and / or prior year.
- Support the HR team to produce reports for external stakeholders.
- Complete ad-hoc analysis, layering in data from other parts of the business that will deliver deeper insight into how people changes may affect other core business KPIs.
What you'll have:
Must have transferable skills either through a similar role or through education
- Familiar with MS Office Suite. High level excel skills are necessary. A basic facility with SQL would be an advantage.
- High level of accuracy and good attention to detail is essential to be successful.
- Positive enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude.
- Must have an analytical problem-solving approach.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple sources of data
