This is an exciting opportunity to join a HR team and provide first line HR support alongside driving HR objectives.
This role is based within a company where growth is big on the agenda. We are based in modern offices with free onsite parking.
The role is for 35hrs/week.

You’ll be getting involved across the business with all recruitment practices, working closely with the HR team to onboard new candidates and starters across a multitude of different sectors. You’ll get involved with employee benefits, promoting them to make sure people get what they deserve, showing off the caring nature of the company. You’ll get to work collaboratively with Line Managers to understand their needs and feedback how the recruitment market looks so you can get the best for both their team and the business as a whole.

- CIPD qualification or studying
Previous experience in a similar role will ultimately lead to your success. Some of your roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide HR support in the areas of recruitment and retention, employment management and HR administration
- Ensure compliance with HR processes and data protection regulations
- Promote a positive culture within the business
- Working collaboratively with the entire company
- Providing employee relations support to managers.
- Working with others across the business on people related projects, regularly review metrics and implement ideas to improve them
- Support and coach line managers on all people policies and procedures, providing guidelines and tools as appropriate
- Work with the HR management team to implement policies and procedures
- Conduct exit interviews, collate data and report any trends
- Support Line Managers by providing guidance and coaching with any employee relations issues including absence management, investigations, welfare meetings and flexible working
- Supports employee relations matters as required, e.g. disciplinary and grievance issues and is a note taker for formal meetings
- Ensures internal compliance with all HR policies and procedures and proactively advises where this might not be the case
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Head of People
