Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a HR Advisor to to be based from our site based in Billingham.
The Role
Being responsible for providing front line HR advice and support across our Billingham site, you will play an integral part in enabling managers to meet their objectives and to effectively manage their teams in line with both legislation and organisational policies.
Typically day-to-day, you will be upskilling and providing process advice for managers whilst undertaking HR related activities such as disciplinary hearings, absence meetings and administering maternity, paternity and other leave requests.
Our Billingham site is a unionised environment, so you will also be facilitating JCC/Union meetings whilst representing company and colleagues interest.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrable background as a HR generalist, preferably within an industry such as FMCG, manufacturing or chemical
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with excellent attention to detail
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret/present data
- Knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors HRIS or equivalent system
- Excellent up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice
- If possible, hold or be working towards a CIPD qualification
