As a HR Advisor, you will become a trusted partner of the Business Unit managers. Working in a HR team to provide support to leaders on HR matters to ensure the growth, development and engagement of our people. Alongside this, you will assist with recruitment related activities for the Qantas London portfolio. You will be responsible for creating and implementing effective recruitment marketing campaign strategies for a variety of roles, take ownership of onboarding activities as well as ensuring a positive candidate experience that also reinforces the values of the Qantas brand.
You will provide support to the HR Manager and Business Partner with a wide range of people related activities, HR processes and required administration associated with the employee lifecycle e.g. benefit administration. You will provide advice, guidance and coaching to Managers and colleagues across the Company on ER and people matters.
You’ll have –
  • Ability to adopt a positive and flexible approach to change and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Good problem-solving capability and ability to exercise sound judgment, exploring innovative approaches to sourcing strategies
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to advise stakeholders at all levels when required, including experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Relevant experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Induction & Onboarding
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior experience in administration within airline operations would be advantageous
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline is highly desirable
  • High level of IT literacy, including a good working knowledge of MS Office. Experience using Workday is advantageous
