Brief Outline of Job:
This is an exciting role working within the HR Business Partnering team and supporting our retail store teams across the UK and Europe.
This role is based in our London Head Office but will require regular travel to stores. Hybrid working applies meaning you may work up to 50% of your time from home.
HR:
Work with the respective business area to establish yourself as a key point of call for all HR related queries.- Manage employee relations matters (e.g., capability, absence management, grievance, redundancy) within the correct frameworks and coaching managers through these matters to ensure a successful and timely resolution with mitigation of risk.
- Provide robust employee relations advice, guidance and training to Store leadership teams and Area Managers.
- Work in partnership with the HR Assistants and HR Business Partner to ensure employee and manager queries are resolved effectively, spotting trends and patterns, and proposing solutions.
- Partner with the Training and Content team to ensure the delivery of successful induction plans for new starters within your business area.
- Support and promote employee engagement and health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Ensure a robust annual performance and talent management process, and work closely with your business leaders on succession planning.
- Act as a key point of contact for the Payroll department and your assigned Business Unit to ensure employees are paid correctly, on time and helping them with any queries that may arise.
- Support the wider HR team to review and update central HR documentation (e.g., letter and contract templates) in line with legislative changes and best practice.
- Produce and analyse people metrics where required (with the support of HR Analyst).
- Proactively spot/implement opportunities to improve team ways of working, HR services and identifies and resolves problems.
Projects:
Support the wider HR team in the annual salary and bonus review process for your business area.- Support in the delivery and development of internal communications programmes.
- Support to drive adoption of the new HR & Payroll system.
- Other ad-hoc project work as required.

Skills and Knowledge:
Relevant experience in an HR role in a fast-paced, professional environment.- Volume employee relations experience is essential.
- Level 3 or Level 5 CIPD qualified (or seeking to achieve or working towards qualification).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen and assimilate relevant information.
- IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Process orientated with strong planning skills.
- Diligent and meticulous with a good eye for detail.
- Must have excellent organisational skills and initiative, with the ability to manage the day-to-day HR processes autonomously.
