Legal Secretary - Oswestry
We are a multi-disciplinary law practice serving a client base stretching across more than 10 counties in England and Wales. We are looking to recruit full-time secretarial support for our Oswestry Office.
The candidate will be required to work in the Firm’s Private Client Department dealing sensitively with client enquiries and with the ability to deal with all aspects relating to the department.
Previous legal secretarial experience is desirable but essential.
The role will involve:
- Working alongside our team of Solicitors and assist with the running of files
- Answering telephone enquiries
- Liaise with clients in person and virtually
- File management
The Candidate should demonstrate:
- Excellent audio typing skills
- Excellent communication, numeracy and IT skills
- Be able to show initiative and work independently
- Follow instruction and work as part of a team
- Be highly organised and punctual
- Work well under pressure
- Be able to prioritise work to meet deadlines set
- Pro-active and positive attitude
- Be personable and professional.
The ability to deal calmly and sensitively with people is essential as are problem-solving abilities and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
