Salary: £38,000 - £50,000

About the role
We’re looking for a talented HR advisor to join our People Team at Lucid.
Reporting to the Head of People, you will work directly within a small team and have the opportunity to make a big impact. The HR Advisor will be involved in a wide range of HR activities, from being the first point of contact for managers and team members across Lucid, to supporting the implementation of new functionality on our new HR system HiBob.
We have approximately 170 employees and no two days are the same.
About you
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor with a broad experience. It’s key that you’re naturally self-sufficient and proactive, whilst also being a strong team player.
You will need a general understanding of employment law and should be keeping up to date with UK policy and legislation. You should also be comfortable in analysing data to identify key trends and confident in making suggestions for change.
A CIPD level qualification is desirable but not required, it’s more important that you have a can-do attitude, are motivated to deliver and have hands-on experience.
Responsibilties
First line support to managers, giving advice and guidance and leaning on company policy and procedure where appropriate.
Support with the HR system Hibob, implementing new system functionality, managing reporting and analytics and proactively suggesting new functionality to implement.
Supporting the performance management cycle including objective setting, performance reviews and managing 1:1s.
Providing advice and guidance on managing absence, ensuring completion of return-to-work conversations, providing support and escalating where necessary.
Supporting on drafting new policies and procedures, identifying process efficiencies and automations.
Support on L&D, reporting and tracking usage of our system, understanding the business needs and future opportunities for development.
Liaise with the payroll team to ensure all changes are processed including new starters, leavers, changes.
Support on employee relations cases - disciplinaries, grievances etc
Supporting managers on induction of new starters and ensuring onboarding and induction tasks are completed.
Comfortable and confident to educate managers, support or lead workshops for employees/ managers on a range of HR topics.
Support hiring managers with interviews, ensuring best practices are followed.
Managing the full Employee Onboarding process
Managing admin - drafting Contracts, offers & job change letters
Proactively stay up to date with current trends in the market and share these within the team.
Collaborate and engage with the People team, sharing knowledge, experience and ideas that can be implemented to drive success.
Any other tasks, as and when required.
Required
Understanding of all aspects of HR including employee relations, performance management, recruitment and selection etc.
Experience working in HR.
Personable, approachable, can-do attitude.
Proactive, confident and driven to make a positive impact.
Good communication skills.
Comfortable with excel and reporting.
Desirable skills
Experience with HR system Hibob.
CIPD Qualification or HR degree.
