Salary: £30,000.00 - £34,000.00 DOE

The role:
As an HR Advisor you will be the main point of contact for all Key Travel employees and line managers to answer queries and provide comprehensive HR advice. You will support and manage the full employee life cycle, work on a range of projects and change initiatives, review and update policies, as well as support the Head of HR in driving business performance.
You will also monitor key HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, train line managers on recruitment best practice, review and update job descriptions and oversee recruitment processes to help attract the best talent. To be successful in this role you will be personable, have great communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, including those of the senior management team, colleagues and applicants in a timely and effective manner.
A typical day might include:
▪ Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
▪ Reviewing and updating job descriptions
▪ Advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies
▪ Training hiring managers on candidate interview evaluation techniques
▪ Assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns
▪ Coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants
▪ Monitoring key recruitment metrics, such as turnover and retention rates
▪ Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff
▪ Providing advice and playing a major role in work reviews and change processes
▪ Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data
▪ Identifying development needs
▪ Suggesting new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations (e.g. ATS and HRIS software)
▪ Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations
▪ Supporting the tracking of the appraisal system
▪ Monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
▪ Supporting the team with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary
▪ Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation’s objectives
▪ Assisting in organising employer branding initiatives
▪ Acting as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members

Key experience and attributes:
Essential
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Proven work experience as an HR advisor, HR Officer or in a similar role
- Ability to advise and work well with senior members of staff
- Hands-on experience with IT programmes and HR systems
- Knowledge of employment legislation
- Strong personable communication skill and relationship building capabilities to work effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business
- Ability to design clear and fair company policies
- Drive and determination to exceed expectations
- Practical and logical approach to work
- A keen eye for detail and an ability to solve problems quickly
Desirable
- Great process and customer knowledge
- A willingness to learn and try new things
- Experience working across cultures and with remote teams
- CIPD qualification or working towards
